The Fallout Anthology Edition project is not dead, I had to step back for a couple of months due to a family emergency. While I was still working on the project pretty close to as much as usual I didn't have enough time to work on the site or interact as much as I normally do or would like to. This project is still fully in development though so no worries there. Thank you for your support!

Well, I am quite pleasantly surprised to not only have found this project, but to find it still being supported. I was originally googling to see how the F4NV project was doing, and was very surprised to find your Steam forum post instead. Your method of directly converting existing game files for use in the newer F4 engine to use is very clever, and strikes me as a well thought-out anti-piracy method for a full game port as it does not redistribute anything.
Windows does still incorrectly flag the setup.exe as a Trojan, but otherwise the installation guide made getting things set up smooth. I am currently in the Asset Optimization stage as of writing this, and will probably let that run while I sleep and test it before heading to work tonight.
I have heard endless adoration for the story of New Vegas, but trying to play it myself was almost painful as the gunplay was extremely clumsy and dated. Frankly, it was outdated even when it was a new release. I look forward to experiencing the game y'all love so much through this Anthology project.
