I am working on troubleshooting this right now. Can you tell me what version of Windows you are using and also where is your Fallout New Vegas and Fallout 4 installation located?
Rest assured I will have this taken care of hopefully by tonight, if not by tomorrow evening.
I'm running Windows 10 and all my games are on my E: drive
Weird part is the previous version of the installer worked fine, aside from the textures not actually transferring over (invisible items/world objects).

Thank you for letting me know. I apologize for the delay in getting back to you regarding this issue. What seemed like a small issue ended up taking more time than originally thought. I should the newest version available in a couple hours; I'm literally building the archive as I type this.
im having the same issue mine is in the H Drive
Hey friend, I apologize for the delay in getting back to you. Rest assured I have been working on the latest version this past week and it will include a patch for the issue you are having.

Hey friend, the new update is actually being uploaded to the site right now as I type this message to you. You likely have your installations on a disk drive other than the C: drive. This is a known issue that was fixed in the update being released tongiht.
With the latest update, the .exe file runs fully, but I'm running into the same issue I had from the start: invisible items for everything being imported from New Vegas.
When I initialize the startup.exe I select base game + DLC and then the installer runs. However, I believe the problem lies with the FNV to FO4 converter because everything that runs through it gets a "Failed to Assign Record" prompt. I triple checked that I have a fresh and clean FNV install along with all the DLC. At this point, I have no idea what's going wrong with the installation. I even downloaded every possible version of C++ for Windows 11 to ensure I'm not missing one of them.
Any thoughts?

This is extremely interesting... I haven't been able to replicate this problem. As ridiculous as this sounds, have you started a new game and made just any kind of save? It's possible that for some reason you're missing an .INI file from Fallout New Vegas that is generated on first time launch or after graphics detection.
I would try making a save in Fallout New Vegas. To spare yourself time, when you open Fallout New Vegas, enter the developer console and type "coc goodsprings" and just save so you don't have to play the tutorial.
Other than that suggestion, I would also try to open the FNV to FO4 converter and confirm that the detected installation location is accurate. Perhaps the FNV to FO4 converter is attempting to process files from a non-existent folder.
For my own troubleshooting purposes, could you tell me where both games were purchased / installed from? Steam, etc. Most users from my understanding are using Steam copies so it will be worth me looking into this further if you're using a different version of the games.
