I just installed the C++ programs and wanted to create the texture replacer folder like you mentioned using Ojo Bueno and some other texture mods.
Should the path look like this:
Fallout 4 > Data > Textures > falloutnv > texture folder and mesh folder with all modded textures/meshes (or should I only have textures?)

Let's say that you have a zip / rar file for the Fallout New Vegas retexture mod.

If you were to open the zip / rar, there would be a folder called "Data" which includes "Meshes", "Textures", etc. In the "Textures" folder you would create a new folder and name it "new_vegas". You would then drag all of the other files and folders into the "new_vegas" folder. Then, you would copy the "Textures" folder and paste it into Fallout 4's Data folder.

You would not want to add the "Meshes" folder from a Fallout New Vegas unless you personally converted the meshes to be compatible with Fallout 4, however most retextures don't include new meshes.

Ok, thanks for the explanation, so I'd make something like this:
New Vegas retexture mod.rar > Data > Textures > new_vegas > landscape, architecture, and other subfolders of the retexture mod (only textures)
Does that seem about right?

Yes that's correct.

It should look like:

Data\Textures\new_vegas\*everything from texture pack*

Just make sure you don't have multiple "Textures" folders.

It should NOT look like:

Data\Textures\new_vegas\Textures\

Thanks for the clarification, does the new version have quests implemented yet or should I wait off until a later release?
Also how would updating the mod work?

The newest update will include some questions, however you will find that most NPC's can now be interacted with and have their original dialogue from Fallout New Vegas.

Woah, this is awesome! None of the NPCs or dialogue ported over correctly, and there's some other bugs, but I'm in New Vegas, in Fallout 4! Super excited for future updates to this!
