Downloaded all good, awesome start and can't wait for NPC's and armour and things; but, I am unable to open doors, ones that transition between cells work fine, but other doors don't actually open. Was wondering if anyone else had this issue.

This is being worked out and unfortunately is one of the bigger fixes in the works for the project. I may ultimately end up manually fixing each door model and then include them as part of the patch included in the installer.
This issue is number two or three on the top ten list of fixes needed, with lower number being a higher priority. Rest assured this will be fixed eventually. In the meantime, you can enter the developer console, select the door, and type "disable" which should remove the door entirely from the game for you.

Can you confirm that you are using the latest version release? A way to check if the mod is working correctly is to enter the developer console while you're in-game by pressing "`" or "~" on your keyboard which is directly above the "tab" key on your keyboard.
Once you've opened the console, type "coc goodsprings" followed by a single press of the enter key. If you appear in Goodsprings and everything looks as it should, the mod is installed and you probably used an older version. If your screen temporarily turns black and resumes back to exactly where you were before entering the command, the mod was not installed correctly.
