News & Updates: 03/22/2025
I have been putting off the release of the next massive update because I am absolutely obsessed with quality and perfection of this project and taking even a couple days off to compile a release puts me back nearly a week because of the vast amount of tasks that I am simultaneously working on and the notes I need to go back over. I will be releasing this update exactly one week from today (03/22/2025) with no further excuses. This will be the first beta release of Fallout Anthology Edition which will be a massive improvement over the initial alpha release.
You guys can expect to see nearly EVERY character speaking with at least minimal dialogue with some quests working. Additionally, these characters will have their original voice data using the installer’s new voice actor data converter. Navmesh has been completed for all of the world spaces so companions, characters, and enemies will function as intended. LOD has been completely redone and looks absolutely stunning. Most weapons and armor are fully functioning.
I am working on this project nearly every day and I will do my best to stay in touch with the community regarding any questions, concerns, or troubleshooting. I don’t have time to make videos for YouTube or I would sincerely try to get more attention to this project; if you have an interest in becoming a part of the project feel free to let me know!
Unfortunately, there is a chance that your existing settlements from the alpha release may no longer work, however I do promise to try my best to make a patch for this later down the line which will convert old (alpha) settlements to the latest version (beta or newer). Some character dialogue may not work as intended without a clean save, so I highly suggest using a new or clean saved game when using this next update.
Going forward I will be working on the website weekend while I work on the project during the week. I recently put a lot of work into the website to make it more user friendly and to add several new features as well as increasing the speed and performance.
